If and when those hit the market, they should make things interesting. One's an open android device and the other will run PC games - not just Steam games.
While I think the Ouya is awesome I don't think it has the power that 'core gamers' want from their home console so I am not sure it will hurt really.
Steam Box interests me more personally, but my PC is already a steam box. Just the thought of being able to play my steam games (and other PC games) elsewhere in the house is a nice idea
but again, I don't think it will hurt other consoles as a lot of people choose a console based on it's exclusive titles.
