[A Place of Greater Safety] IT'S OVER
latest #8
powerful from beginning to end. I expected the last few chapters to be heartbreaking but I didn't expect the bleak humor and the utter grace of prose
well worth the read, even if it was such a long ordeal
in retrospect it was a far more experimental book than I thought, in terms of style
it's rewarding how much Mantel's writing has matured in Wolf Hall
and when the Cromwell trilogy finishes this or next year it will be the most amazing thing ever
I had many more things to say about APoGS but I feel like now is not the time for them, or they all seem trivial right now
