The Knicks have traded Ronnie Brewer to the OKC Thunder in exchange for their 2014 second round draft pick and cash.
With a slot freed up, they will sign Kenyon Martin for a 10-day deal.
While K-Mart will not bring any miracles to the team, I do hope that another big man will help Chandler in the paint.
The only problem is it's a big man out of retirement. Blergh. Congratulations, Knicks, your age average just went up a notch.
And so did your brand new losing streak. This team needs to get their act together. STOP FRIGGIN' COMPLAINING.
On a slightly off-topic note, I hope even this late in their careers, we get to see even one of those awesome JKidd to K-Mart alley oop dunks.
And this team is looking more like an early 2000 New Jersey Nets team, or a 2010 Denver Nuggets Team (Camby, Melo, JRSmith, K-Mart).
At least the loss earlier isn't as embarrassing as the other days' loss to the Pacers.
At least they rallied back and even took the lead in the fourth.
But they can't have alternate good and bad quarters, they need to relearn how to play defense for 48 straight minutes like they did when the season started out.
Notable: Damn Tyson Chandler. He had 6 fouls, but he had 7 boards, a steal, AND FIVE BLOCKS. You should do that every game, and live up to your Defensive Player of the Year title.
