i should just direct all of tihs to CK
Myst3 : question 2, no you have to reformat; or just buy an external hdd
Myst3 : Question 1, you can manually assign IPs to MAC addresses manually and it'll solve all the conflicts
instead of having it autoassigned
dammit to q2!!! thanks zomie...now i need to research how to manually assign
sort of knew i need to format.but try not going that path cos its complicated and time consuming
Myst3 : no problems dude buy a new PC man you can afford it
file transfering also means time as well... so i dont see any diff buying new computer or formatting
dude buy a new PC, transfer + game moar
question 2 could be a yes
download a pirated version of acronis disk manager... it can merge both the volumes
for question 1... is more towards your router settings / network connection settings on PC
both are set to automatically configured? The one for PC you can manually configured yourself
find out the default gateway IP... example if default gateway is 192.168.1.1... change the IP address to 192.168.1.168 or something
follow the instructions of the link given
thanks ck i shall try the pirated version. i knew one way to do it was to format, and was just trying my luck to see if there
another way to it, cos technology improve ma.
the ip thingy seems a bit complicated leh... hmmm.ok i am determined to get it fixed.
however...i dont understand why it has happen quite often, i thought my comp choose a random number for any device that logs onto it.
1000 to choose from, but yet so easy to conflict with each another meh???
it's router management issue i think.... there are 254 to choose from actually
really? i thought there's more to choose leh... ok ok ... u're the expert...
ck4376 tried acronis, great program, but it doesnt seem to let me increase c or merge c drive
wonder if its because of system drive...
