My daughter still has 15 years of school ahead of her. The odds are not good.
Actually, the odds are miniscule that your daughter will ever encounter a school shooting. The number of students in this country, the number of schools, are huge compared to the tiny number of shootings.
Teach her to drive defensively and ALWAYS wear her seatbelt. Teach her about domestic violence and personal safety. Teach her to love herself, and teach her to use condoms.
And teach her that life is about joy, and love and not about fear and hate so that each day she has on this earth is a precious one. /end sermon
