I've been way too busy, but managed to finish River of Bees
and by finish I mean I haven't read the longest piece in the collection yet, but it's time to try something else and set that aside for another day
I still give this book my highest recommendation, but with one warning
which is that anyone who is really attached to animals might find some of it very difficult and depressing
the author truly understands the bond between humans and animals, and it's a major theme of some stories
but the author also loves to make everything ulta-depressing so you can guess how that goes
and probably conduct that will vaguely shame myself, once again
it's shorter than Cromwell #1 so the duration of shouting questionable statements here might be briefer?
