我的Fido contract今年10月到期, 有的說會有$100 penalty, 不能waive掉, 有的說會charge先, 轉到Rogers 30天後會credit back.

客服人員不同的答案讓我心慌, 很怕沒啥"轉台經驗"的我會搞出問題來...

fido/rogers 都是同間公司。或許他們知道吧？不過 contract 結束前換機一般都很難。。。

Usually you can upgrade 6month earlier. But if you are cancelling then for sure there is a cancellation fee.

For cancellation fee, it depends on when you signed the contract as they had several update.

If you are moving to Rogers, or any other carrier. You can ask Rogers to give you a port in credit to cancel out the impact.

Which plan your are going to sign on? Do you use data?

eily: I signed up a "small business plan", $50 per month, 500m data, 1000min week days, unlimited weekends, text messages, pictures, voice mails...etc And the first month is free.

Rogers said Fido will charge me the penalty 100 + tax, once I receive the invoice, I call Fido and ask to waive it. It should be not a problem coz I upgrated to smartphone and pay more.

well, I think this deal is pretty good. I am very happy!

Oh, the best part is: it is FREE to change plan anytime during contract.

imMaggieWang: 哇!真好耶! 當初我轉Fido是因為它便宜且沒有activation fee, 但現在大家都沒收這莫名其妙的費用了, 且Fido的手機都比較舊款, 機價又貴, 比較之後, 我還是決定轉台! (握手)
