to learn how to do a knitted hem better. Provisional cast on + picking up stitches for a hem is taking forever. There must be a better way, not sure what to google for help!

I think Elizabeth Zimmerman has another way if you have, I think, her book Knitting Without Tears? Can't remember the technique.
