and now that I think of it, on a walk today I heard a different sound of 'bird'?? that I had never heard before. Nature loves delivering mysteries.

You should record the sound, and compare it online until you figure out what you heard.

I was actually walking with the guy today and we were discussing how nature is different over the years. And he saw birds he never saw before at the damn and even collected a 16 inch feather.

we still don't know what it is. but things are different. nature is changing...adapting.....moving...something. it would behoove humans to do the same since critters are usually the first to know

Definitely . . . definitely. Migration patterns are changing, birds are nesting in different places, summering in new places - it is messed up.
