The second one's a long video, but it revels in its wrongness so joyfully, that it's hard to look away...and I must admit that the guy they cast as Chewbacca has mad stage presence, haha.

You could write a whole book about nothing but the pervasive influence of "Star Wars" in the late '70s. It's hard to get across just how inescapable it was.

There was a "Mad" magazine cartoon about the distance one would travel to avoid hearing the "Star Wars" theme in 1977. I need to find it tonight...
