My Series 10 Lego Minifigure packs revealed to include: a Mohawk Indian and a Biker Mechanic. Biker dude has a cool tattooed arm.
My MLP blind neon series packs produced Applejack and Gilda.
I've got that one! The biker mechanic
and the skydiver and the mime
The Catwoman Barbie was pricey, but it's the 60's TV costume and just a cool looking doll.
(previously I got the Lego Stackers player from Series 10, and 'Rory'
)
(I haven't even gotten to those episodes yet, I just Know These Things™)
I like the Lego Friends Andrea's Bedroom set, because it's affordable and comes with a Lego Laptop and some nice accessories and translucent studs and flats.
And the Wizard Battle Lego set is cool, because it comes with Saruman and Gandalf both, but also a Palantir with the Eye of Sauron showing through it.
My brother was like "Don't open it!"
"Because then someone else with a Lego Palantir will be able to see everything."
I don't know how he says things like that in such a sincere-sounding tone.
I was really debating with myself if I wanted to buy any of the Equestria Girl stuff, since the whole humanoidized pony thing is...odd?
Good luck finding a Jaeger. They are near impossible to find. When my friend and I went to the nearest Toys R Us store we learned that there was a total of maybe seven available in stores on the East Coast.
But, I liked the look of the two-set with Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer.
Yeah, I haven't seen Jaegers at all, yet
The poor associate even called stores in other states to see if they had them and could take a phone order for them, but none of them did. One did have Crimson Typhoon, but that was it.
And they told us that they could not even promise that it would be the toys that we were looking for, because they all have the same item number in the system, so while the computer may say that they have them
it is a one in three chance that it will be the one(s) you want.
I almost bought a Monster High Twila (daughter of Boogieman), but I feel like if I buy more MH dolls, I'll be more tempted to try for complete sets, and I can't afford that. So it's just the original Draculaura
Sometimes I don't know what to think with toys.
I mean, the ideas the companies have behind their sales and marketing strategies.
Ohh I like the new catwoman Barbie. Its pretty
Are they sometimes thinking: "Well, we're not sure how well these will sell, so let's not make many" And then it creates a demand for those who are interested and
Yeah, the employees literally told us that they got one box of the toys that was just enough to stock the shelf, and that was it.
the rarirty of them makes them desirable to others.
I signed up on the Toys R Us website to have an email sent to me when the toys become available to order through there but...yesh.
Probably those who found them are scalping them on eBay or at cons or something.
Well you know half of them will be swiped and put up on eBay for 2x the amount <<
I remember from other action figures, that a lot of times someone who knows someone at the store reserves a whole bunch as soon as they arrive
And then they'll go re-sell the ones they don't want so much.
I saw the catwoman barbie. XD There was an Adam-West-Batman Ken, too. XDDD Me and my sister lauuughed.
I saw the Batman, but I wanted the Catwoman, because I'd gotten the previous Mattel Barbies dressed as Supergirl, Wonderwoman, and Batgirl.
Though, they had more modern costumes.
Haha yeah, the batman was hilariois, but the catwoman was soo pretty, I wanted her so bad!
She could have sat with my legolas and galadriel ken and barbie on my shelf in her box. ;D
Aw. I don't have those, but I actually have the Ken and Barbie as Aragorn and Arwen in wedding attire. Um, I think I still have it somewhere.
AWWWWWE, WANT! '3' I actually found these two at a local doll shop a few months ago! 8>
