We decided on Paris and Prague for our week.
A couple days ago, he was invited to a conference a couple days after I leave. So, instead of flying home with me, he will fly to Malaysia.
So his passport will have the Netherlands, France, Czech Republic, Latvia, and Malaysia added to it. And he won't see the kids for a total of 5 weeks now!
Five weeks is a long time, but what an opportunity to travel and see the world!
I'm a huge proponent of international travel. Five weeks is a ton, but he'll have great stories. He should keep a travel journal.
I am very jealous of him! I'm so excited that I get to have a week of travel. He is hoping to move us to Malaysia sometime in the future, so he is excited to get a chance to check it out.
He has always wanted to travel and I'm so happy that he is finally getting a chance to do so.
Will he have Ambien prescribed? That might help. Just for the first 3 days.
No. He doesn't have that, but is a good idea though. He picked up a lovely cold the last couple of days, so hopefully the Sudafed he is slamming will help him sleep.
Jet lag is as nasty beast, poor guy being sick too
He lands at 8 AM on Saturday and starts class on Monday morning. Hopefully, he will be able to adjust in those couple days.
If he can sleep on the plane, that'll help. I can't unless thoroughly exhausted.
Have him stay awake for as long as possible to close to bedtime after he lands. Tell him to go do something like sightsee. If he stays in the hotel, he'll crash.
Yeah, I am quite nervous about my traveling. I will be on the same flight. Leave at three our time and arrive at midnight our time, which is 8am there.
Some people are fine, you never know.
Our jet lag took about 10 days to two weeks to abate
I'd suggest a much milder Tylenol pm or something like that ... No script needed
