apply for a job..." he says softly.

blinks and looks up from his work. He shifted to take his reading glasses off and set them aside as he glanced at the sheet of paper. "You would like to?"

nods. "Mhm. Or, at least, Gregory suggested I might be good at it," he replies. He didn't really relish the thought of working with Arthur, mind you.

took the resume from him and tucked it away onto a stack of papers. "It'll be considered." He wasn't to interested in hiring the kid, mostly he'd seen him around flirting to much to want that kind of employee.

purses his lips at that, not really pleased with that answer. "...you won't even look at it, will you?" he hums, figuring Arthur was biased already.

picked up his glasses and slid them back into place on his nose. "You will be considered and contacted for an interview if you have the right skill set."

sighs at that. "...ah, fine. Well thanks anyways," he answers, turning to leave and convincing himself he hadn't originally wanted any dumb job anyways.

watched him for a moment, "if you're going to react like that then I wont seriously consider you." He would read the resume, he couldn't ignore it.

hums at him. "All I said was thank you," he replies, turning back around.

eyed him as he paused in his work. "Why do you want the job?"

stands a little straighter. "I believe I could do well, seeing as I know a few sections of the library well, and I enjoy the atmosphere in here. "

glanced at the desk and frowned before looking up at him again. "Hmm you also like to be indecent in public places."

furrows his brows a bit. "I wouldn't do it while working," he replies.

leaned back in his chair and glared at him. "You shouldn't be doing it at all in here."

sighs under his breath. "I promise I will stop, then."

shakes his head, "the fact that you've already been caught once is enough for me. I can't hire someone that has that on their record."

doesn't look very impressed. "Then why are you even humouring me?"

raised a brow and shrugged a bit, "because you seemed sincere about it."

... "I am sincere about it," he replies. "I wouldn't have applied if I wasn't."

eyed him, he still didn't believe he really wanted to work here, not for any kind of academic reason or otherwise related. "You realize that if I decide to hire you on I will be your supervisor."

blinks at that. "...yes, I realize." No he hadn't. Maybe he should just walk away now..

had his doubts about the kid but he glanced over the resume again before sighing. "Come in for an interview tomorrow at 11am."

smiles at that, and nods. "Yes sir," he hums. "I will see you in the morning~"

nodded and put the resume off to the side again. "If you're late, I wont be here."
