So, I had some problems with my job last week and told the manager I was unable to work Sundays anymore.
I was still working Saturdays (as far as I knew)
I missed work this past Saturday, didn't call in (you usually get 2 no call / no shows before any action is taken)
I've been working the same job for 4 years now
I just found a message on facebook from a co-worker saying she's sorry I quit.
I DIDN'T QUIT! I MISSED A DAY!
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THAT?
Granted, it's not like I do much there ever since they hired my position out to a full time employee and they were so sorry, the kept me, the student worker, there anyway
I was just everyone's bitch, is what it felt like. But still, I'm pretty sure I never gave them my 2 week that I wasn't working there anymore. They are my only source of income
I need this job so I can pay the fucking internet bill at my house (5 people, all under my name)
I don't know what to do.... I want to avoid the place as much as possible when I'm not working there because I don't want to have another altercation with co-workers, but what do I do now?
The one manager I work under doesn't know what she's doing, and I don't know specifically what days and times she works, and I want to avoid her too
Although, if I have actually lost this job, am I considered to have quit or been fired? I don't even know. I guess I'll look for work outside of campus. I know plenty of places that need drivers
As long as I don't come home smelling like french fries and other fried foods. I did enough of that with this last job.
