so i got in touch with the bakery that trained me. they're really supportive but they've said they're happy that i'm not destroyed by losing my job

hopefully they'll let me come in and work on production so i can keep in practice

plus i get to work on things like cracking eggs and maybe moving up to pricing final products based on ingredient costs!

I really appreciate that everyone was so supportive after I had my gigantic crash and burn last week.

Honestly, I think this would have been a lot harder if I hadn't had so many wonderful people to talk to.

And you know what? I've been told that tiny things shouldn't deserve a major thank-you, but I think that's BS.

So, to everyone who was kind to me in any way: it made a big difference, and you should know that it says something wonderful about you.
