I did not harass anyone or violate any twitter rules, and yet because I had the audacity to challenge a few erroneous tweets, I got slapped with a suspension. Which I had no recourse to dispute. Thanks Twitter.
Trying to look into it now, because it's harassment of ME if I can't reply to a public tweet simply because I disagree, Twitter. Sorry but I did not spam anyone or be abusive, so this really gets my goat.
yep, some people can't take disagreement on a public forum. For the record, I would never spam or harass someone. Usually I just leave one reply to a particularly silly tweet and leave it at that.
And yet someone felt the need to report me as being abusive or some such. Asking for an investigation now, because, hello, you post publicly? Be prepared to be disagreed with publicly.
The only way I could think of for twitter to support them is if they asked you to stop interacting with them and you ignored it.
Seriously most of the tweets I reply to once to refute and then leave it at that unless they argue back. I have no idea how I got reported or suspended but I am looking into it, because HELLO pretty underhanded
tactic to use, guys. I guess I was talking too much sense.
The suspension was totally vague as to the infraction, just that I'd violated the rules and had to sign I was aware of this and promised not to do it again so as to be unsuspended. But the thing is, I checked
Maybe the other person was a Congressman.
the rules and I didn't violate one of them, so WTF? And what recourse does one have for untrue accusations?
And no
www.plurk.com/TheHats I have never been asked not to interact with someone and have maybe only done an @ to a senator or congressmen once. Does that count?
Well, I just meant that complete shut-down is their preferred method of conflict management.
clearly. But surely I'm no threat lol. Just a few tweets here and there and I need to be shut down and silenced? lmao.
