Having witnessed a money laundering attempt in SL a few years ago, I'm not really surprised those agencies are around. There are some unpleasant characters in the shadows of the internet.

Having seen the recent horror in Kenya...and the poor off-duty British soldier who was murdered in broad daylight, I'm glad GCHQ are around. Remember who the real bad guys are, please! :-(
