Hi! I'm Lina
hi guys I am so glad to meet you
as is customary at this time I must thank
Tipple
who is one of my very oldest RP friends, and who convinced me to join The Games as it has been a really long time since I've been her RP girlfriend
The joke here being that I've tended to play her girlfriend in many different incarnations over the years.
Eep is more than just Guy's girlfriend, clearly. She's also a crazy tiger girl who will eat you.
I'm 23, I live in Chicago, I'm in graduate school to be a high school history teacher, and I really like goat cheese!
Yup, I think that's pretty introductory.
Eep will hate everyone for a while but once she gets over that, will love meeting new people. Her bark is worse than her bite. ...Mostly.
Well, that depends on several factors--I'm taking some courses right now, but I've applied to several programs in both education and history. So the answer to that is: whatever one takes me and gives me money.
I'd prefer to get a masters in history and then get a teaching certificate, but that might not be the way the wind blows green pieces of paper.
demonshiding: Yes. Yes, he will get his ass kicked. First and foremost by her. Guy doesn't really need to protect Eep much... she does a pretty good job of that by herself. She is a 10, after all.
She might throw him a far distance.
My undergrad is actually in Religion!
History! Now, with more god!
Yes you can! In Canada too, I think! But yes. Religion is a thing you can get a degree in. From people who want to study religion in a secular way.
My dad is Canadian, so I could technically claim dual citizenship if I wanted and move away and hide in your mounds of snow.
It is a humanity subject so that makes total sense.
I have a lot of history courses in my undergrad repertoire. It turns out to understand religion you have to understand history and in many cases vice versa.
Well I live in Chicago, which is about the same latitude as Toronto. We have approximately two feet of snow on the ground now. So I'm not ignorant in the ways of snow.
I just think it'd be more exciting if it were Canadian snow.
Most inevitably radical students don't last very long in academic religion courses. It's very secular. But that might be my small liberal arts experience speaking here.
Do you live............ in the Miami of Canada
My family's from Nova Scotia. That's all I know about that.
gently tumbles into your plurk
gently tumbles around to you like a rolling stone
Yes, Nova Scotia. Poor, forgotten province.
poor beautiful lost province
ah, a fellow dual citizen!
hi rachel, I'm Lisa and Tipple's told me many good things about you
are you also a canadiamurrcan?
yep! I was raised in Quebec until we escaped to Nevada when I was 8
my father escaped Canada. in fourth grade I interviewed him for an immigration project. he said "it was horrible... the dry cleaning flapped in my face in the car the whole way to ohio"
HotPinkCoffee: I have heard many good things about you too!! Also I just apped into your game yay.
atippleofyourtears: You know I was thinking earlier today that if someone had asked me like seven years ago if we would still be rping together seven years later I'd be like
GASP THAT FOX IS SO CUTE.
vero plays hawkeye who guy has glommed onto ferociously and regularly knocks my socks off with him
