I have the next seven days off from work and boy did I need it.
aw yea, relaxation and lazing about
It didn't come without a lot of guilt though. One co-worker got really mad about it because she felt she's worked there longer and deserved Christmas off more then me.
Urp. That must have felt. Really awkward. 8(
subwaymaster: Yeah man, gonna do all the things I can't do on a workday, like clean and rearrange my room and laundry and...
Actually that doesn't sound all that fun and interesting at all.
I've been locking myself in my room for most of my school break so far ssso |D
Hahaha, really I couldn't care less if she's mad about it. I was pushed into a use it or lose it situation because over the course of the summer my boss kept asking me to put off taking my vacation time.
Ach, hopefully things are going too badly, nol. I admit, I haven't really kept up with plurk for reasons.
Well to be honest, apart from my entrance exams announcement being delayed, I've been honestly doing pretty good.
Most of my agitation, or general unbearable mood right now is because I've been waiting for said announcement. B')
But yeah, it's been pretty cool otherwise, and it's a-okay that you haven't been on Plurk! I've only started plurking more again thanks to free time.
Ah, I'm so glad. I mean, not that your exams are delayed, that's super frustrating but I'm glad you're ok otherwise.
Even when I'm not around I still think and worry about how you're doing.

So good luck, young nol! Not that you'll need it, you've got a far better head on your shoulders then I ever did at your age
alksdjklas I AM. happy that you got nice long vacation you deserve.
And that I suck talking to people and happy to know you get a nice treat and been doing good.
I need it, especially after this week.. month... actually this whole year has been really long and trying one.
We've had three people hit by cars in front of our store in less then a month.
911 was on the scene quickly with the one 3 weeks ago, but there was a couple who were hit crossing the street by a truck just two nights ago who I and a customer had to tend to until rescue services arrived.
There was.. a lot of blood. She had a head injury.
Yeah it's been REALLY BAD. They even put up new large caution signs after the first kid got hit but that still doesn't stop people from not paying attention.
It's actually made my anxiety really bad because I cross that street my self twice a day and I know I'm had some close calls myself even being naturally cautious.
Trouble sleeping, feeling restless, intrusive thoughts, ect. ect.
I actually almost called out yesterday because I was still upset over the couple that got hit but since it was my last day before going on vacation, I sucked it up and went anyways.
I don't blame you, I would be pretty flighty myself if I were in your shoes, because that's just really bad.
I do NOT recommend doing that though. If something is really bothering you, call out. I was miserable and anxious all night. It's not fair to your or your employers/school.
The only good thing, and I use this loosely, is that no one was killed. Both the young guy hit at the start of the month and the couple that got hit 2 days ago have been treated and released from the hospital.
Yeah, I slept a lot easier last night knowing they had been released that morning.
Other then that not much is happening in my neck of the woods. Maine is under a winter weather advisory at the moment because it's been pouring freezing rain since yesterday.
They're predicting over an inch of ice and power outages across the state over the course of the day. Then snow on Monday.
No one who celebrates it will have to worry about not having a white New England Christmas this year. :y
Winter wonderland, indeed
Speaking of, I have to go out and shovel/salt now that the rain let up a bit.
I love you guys and I hope you have a great day.
;0; i got your card yesterday, thank you!!!! <3
I'm glad it made it too you safe and sound! Maine's branch of the postal service has proven to be less then reliable for me in the past...
