Usually I visit Mom in Starkville, but she went to Florida to visit my sister-in-law and my niece and nephew, and anyway I only have the one day off.

There was one time my car decided to not start and Jack kidnapped my to his family's Christmas, which I am sure he'd have done again if I had let him, but I don't feel the need.

I have settled in with the Muppet Christmas Carol and the delicious homemade pumpkin dip and gingersnaps that Mom brought me.

I'll have a nice quiet holiday before I have to go back in to work at the crack of dawn on Thursday.
