because the only FF game I've gotten anywhere close to completion (though I've tried playing like 3 and own 2 of) is Crisis Core, because it's more hack n slash

And with FFXIII-2 there are loads of extra endings and DLC stuff that you have to pay for, so just watch it on youtube. >>;

I think the whole game is bittersweet, because you know what's coming at the end... No matter how hard he tries or how optimistic he is...he's going to die.

I know... it's just the journey there is so heartbreaking. it's like, he starts out as this cute puppy and over all his family starts disappearing and then he's a sad puppy
