2. When he sends Rael instead.
3. When he watches Gejutel and then scolds Rael.

5. Him running back to the sleeping chambers of the Past Lord.
6. Him showing up when Frankenstein fights Urokai, the 8th elder, and the other guy I can't remember.
7. Pink apron.
8. And other human world scenes yay daylight.
9. Tracking Rael.
10. Fighting the werewolf guy.
I THINK THAT'S EVERYWHERE I REMEMBER HIM SHOWING UP.
Though I am kinda sad because I really would like to see more stuff about the current clan leaders interacting with the past clean leaders.
There was the message that the previous Lord left for the current Lord but other than that, there's not much and I'm bummed.

There isn't a single panel in which Rajak is smiling, I feel like that says a lot about how out of my depth he is.

I find it interesting that he fixes his mask a lot though. Like randomly during battle he's pulling it up again.
Even though there's no major need for it, it just looks cool.
Though I imagine Reiga (whatever Hot Dad's name's spelling is) was more prone to that expression, being the sillier one.
If it slips during battle, he won't look cool anymore.

I WILL PROBABLY PERPETUALLY CHANNEL IEYASU
BUT YES. Rajak is an interesting character. He developed a lot too, I think.
He's undoubtedly loyal to the Lord, which is something that I'd forgotten. He doesn't really care for reasons that Gejutel has because he's so attached to their current leader.
Gejutel even thanks him for being there for her and Rajak really doesn't have a lot to respond with. Pretty sure that's just his basic understanding.
He's also the only one who doesn't seem surprised when Gejutel is silenced to a forced eternal sleep. He's kind of just taking it in and not letting himself feel one way or another.
But that's already changed by the time he shows up in the human world again because he lets himself get distracted and injured on purpose on Seira's behalf.
In his fight with Frankenstein, he protects his younger brother and keeps him out of the fight but doesn't really notice his actions like when he tries to kill Swag Crew 2.0.
Ohhh, I see, I see. I love these sorts of parallels.
He seems a lot more attuned to his surroundings by the second time around and this time actually showing concern for someone who isn't related to him.
I also think it's hilarious that he thinks that foul play in order to win a fight is shameful to their clan, but doesn't really see how it's demeaning to do the dishes on behalf of the M-21 and Takeo.
Their request was reasonable so he did it. :V Why is it not work befitting a clan leader, particularly when the children are friends with the Noblesse?
I think it's pretty obvious that he doesn't really share Rael's views on... anything, particularly his disdain for all humans especially the modified ones.
Since he assumes that Rael is patrolling the school and watching for enemies and praises him, which is the second time. The first time was when he saved the kids when they were poisoned.
Rajak entirely supports his little brother being less psychotic.
Those were the times that he looked the most pleased in all his appearances in the series, tbh.
Also can I just say that I think it's fascinating that Rajak was the one to sentence Rael to 10 years in confinement? But he clearly cares for his brother, seeing as he leaves the Lord's side to find him out
in the human world despite the fact that the Union just invaded Lukedonia.
He's probably legitimately trying to do what he thinks is best. And he tells him not to call him "Hyung", even though that actually stops being the case after a while, but he's so obviously brotherly it hurts.
Rajak just wants to look out for Rael, ah . . .
It's like he's trying to balance out his responsibilities as a clan leader and not showing partiality but also he can't ignore the fact that his brother was causing rampant destruction. So 10 years confinement.
I think re: washing dishes, Rajak has the pride and honor of a noble, but that doesn't mean elevating himself above others. He merely has more obligations toward his clan and humans as a noble.
He endorses the responsibilities more than the privileges.

Yeah, I think so. There's so much pride going on, it's ridiculous. But at the same time when there is no need for fighting or causing havoc, he will also make himself useful in other ways. Like washing dishes.
I mean, after all, he's staying in Franken's house apparently free of charge. So he'll actually just do the same work that Regis and Seira are doing.

When Tao and Takeo showed up and Franken was like "what are you doing here" and Tao was like "some clan leader told us to go ahead" and both Franken and Rajak were just like

Also Karias called Rajak cold. That made me laugh.

Ahh, I'm just looking over all the pages I saved now. There was also the scene where Rajak just. Snapped at Rael for being rude to Gejutel.
I thought that was fascinating, especially since Gejutel had been named a traitor and was behind bars at the time. Rajak still didn't approve of how Rael spoke to him and even apologized on his behalf.
To the guy locked up behind bars.
Rajak's sense of pride is something else.
Gejutel is still a great guy, yo, don't be disrespecting.
Also his name will forever throw me off because it's pronounced Geshutel.
Rajak is the type of person who will never belittle someone else and give them their due dignity.

Also I think that he learned quite a bit about the pride thing after the run-ins at Lukedonia, especially when Rai got away from him and walked right past him.
Especially when Rai said that Hot Dad was someone who always showed his virtue in silence.
That probably really stuck with Rajak, especially once he realized who Rai was. That probably made it all the easier for him to be willing to do basic household chores after the whole encounter.
I think that even though there was no major need for it, Rajak did manage to find some development after Lukedonia. Seeing Grandia for the first time must've been interesting, even though he knew it existed.
There were basically just countless reminders that he didn't really live up to the standards that his father had set and that's why he worked that much harder to get better by the time he met up with Franken.
There was a moment where Rajak was just like "He ignored me? The clan leader of the Kertia?" and it was probably the most arrogant thing he'd thought in the entire thing. /shrugs
But then he clearly takes it upon himself to patrol the school when he's in Korea himself, if the fact that he saw Rael there means anything. He's just better at concealing himself so I'm definitely of the-
opinion that he kind of made himself an unofficial security guard.
For the sake of nameless students that he doesn't even interact with, he will protect them as his duty as a noble and does not care if he is never acknowledged for it.
BASICALLY I JUST HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS ABOUT RAJAK AND THAT'S WHY I'M GOING TO TRY PLAYING HIM EVEN THOUGH I'M SCARED HE'S REALLY OUT OF MY CHARACTER TYPE.
Though I'm just going to throw it out there - I had these exact same worries about aniki.
Motochika was so out of my character type and I didn't understand his speech patterns and I had no idea how to play a Brute with a Heart of Gold but. Now it's like second nature.
Hopefully the same thing will happen with Rajak.

Basically. I just bumped the saturation a bit and in some of the night scenes I reduced the blue in the color balance- OTHERWISE I PRETTY MUCH LEFT THEM UNTOUCHED.
YET THEY'RE STILL SO GORGEOUS.
