pokemon are used in battles to become really good at using others to fight, and the people who control them are color coded

(no, she just finds it odd two trainers she's met are color named)

people are ridiculously helpful of strangers, even if you're, well, Annie

teleporters make her nauseated, but they're very useful

magic makes very little sense at all, but people are willing to teach you it anyway and the spirits around here are all for it too

she doesn't want to go near tunnels at all (eyes... levi... erwin... hange...)

and people are really enthusiastic about swimming when they're male

she's also learned about strange bathing customs, what swimsuits are and their common use (possibly also what they look like)

pokemon are intelligent to some degree and understand people, and that's mildly creepy (sorry)

school's a thing, and that too is useful

she may learn what seaweed is soon and she will not like that at all (sobs)

she's not getting still why you have to shower before going into the hotsprings it will forever feel redundant but hey, whatev's

and i know folks were discussing getting someone to figure out what gas is used in the compression for those things - were folks also checking on sets using magical propulsion?

would be good in times where they were in magic positive places and wanting to conserve the gas that will work regardless of 'extra' ability dampening
