Why are comments closed have you had problems?
Three quarters of a billion junk comments in under two weeks. The server administrators were giving me the evil eye about the load it was causing.
Had to close off comments on both blogs.
any how PR all seems to revolve around twitter now.
I am also curious if there is any connection between what you are pointing out and the dramatic decline in employment of professional journalists?
It seems like employers decided en masse that the internet means you don't have to hire professionals anymore and can just go for low bidder. With predictable results.
Spelling, grammar and fact checking are no longer important. What IS important is a comments section.
Well, even thirty years ago, I was lamenting the poor spelling and grammar in print-media. On the plus side, that aspect hasn't gotten much worse.
Most local online newspapers are horrifying.
Ah, I was thinking Australian newspapers and magazines which are terrible from an English-language standpoint.
