The Hodgepodge Darling: The Cheerleader I am not FB friends with everyone on here and wanted to make sure that those with faith saw this. It is so amazing. Heartbreaking, but amazing.

I am friends with the writer. We met as my Garrett is the same age as her 3rd son. When we lived in AR, we were about 20 minutes away from where these tornadoes hit.

I've been a mess all week as she has discussed it. I bawled through her blog post but with a smile on my face. I am so grateful April is handling it so well.

My gosh. I both cry for her and rejoice with her. How horrific, and yet GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME. Even in the times we'd rather not experience that. I'll be praying for them. Its so heartbreaking.

I just saw that the dad knows now, too. He was in worse condition than mom.

Rebar through his neck. Neck! But it missed anything vital.

Tornado damage will always and forever amaze me. What a nightmare for them. Thank goodness the dad is alive!

One more sign that I am more a Texan than Kansan, (sorry Kaytabug ) tornadoes scare me to death. I'll take a hurricane any day over a tornado.

Exactly. You know the hurricane is coming with LOTS of warning.

I hid in closets a few times in AR. The 2011 storm that hit the same city as this one was so so so scary.

A broken mirror reflects more light. She may feel times where she is shattered, but she is being pieced back together to create something more beautiful.
