1: It's not a jamjar. Everything is voluntary, whether it's the crau people who get 'rescued' or the recruits who show up to help. Just that eliminates a ton of the old rp cliches for me.

Plus there's a way to put characters to 'rest' without a painful drop and cr angst. They can just...choose to go home, you know? That's kind of awesome.

I love the inclusive everything ever approach to accepted characters. doubles, triples, cr aus and canon ocs or whatnot, no fussy 'keep out ocs' or jaded attitudes toward them

No apps -_- maybe this is my laziness, but it's nice to just toss a character in and get playing.

Premise makes it really cool to think of reasons characters might have for joining up/staying on the station (want to app 1,457 of my villains there for instance)

There's a network. I almost joined a crau type game before this, but it didn't have the network aspect. There's a good reason to have it, too, and besides that I just enjoy the concept.

log only games are cool but it takes me a million years to finish prose writings, quick talkie writings are nice sometimes

Right now I have Tsunami there! He's slowly getting the hang of things. Aaaand...for some reason I dropped Saburo in, so we'll see if that works out or even lasts, since he's such a butthead.

Anyway I probably wouldn't have joined any games (due to my shit schedule) but this one is just perfect and flexible and everything I need. Wish we had more casual gamedressingrooms out there

+1 scifi, vaguely reminiscent of ds9/babylon 5, which are huge nostalgia fandoms for me.

too bad that new star trek game wasn't ds9 based instead of TNG or I woulda been sorely tempted...it's better that it wasn't, considering I barely have time for this one place.
