I second the kiosk system! I had planned to sign up but the class I was signing up for was cancelled the day I planned to enroll.

Only reason is because I'm australian and I don't hop on till around 12am slt during the week but I understand that there are like no teachers that'd be on those times anyway!

Carly_Anne: Well if you know any teachers who might be send them our way! We have teachers applications available at the main reception in the Intellectus Building! (The main school building)

I wish I could, I am not on to much due to RL as it is, but I didn't see anything during the times I am on that peaked my interest honestly.
But then again I may have not looked to closely either.

I really wish the building class had worked out. It's what really set you apart from the other schools.

I did sign up! But I agree more later class times. I only go to miss Revys cause she is awesome and it is late

Ok plurking from my phone. Had to make sure I was doing it right. I tend not to go to school in sl due to the size of classrooms. I don't want to spend 2 hours while everyone takes their turn

Saying who they are, their fav color, and what their parents do or whatever. If it's just like 10 people, ok fine but more than that and I get really bored.

Being 100% honest it's way to unstable. Classes and events for me were constantly canceled or rescheduled. The website featured art being on a Monday

Show up for class and suddenly it's like oh it's Tuesday now. And no offense of course but I just feel like there is no structure or consistency.

I've also had bad experiences with to many interruptions in class and that irritates me. Sometimes is ok but having to stop because someone thinks they are a special snowflake and needs attention

Attention the entire time just makes school not worth going to.

I did sign up, but my class is cancelled now. Now there aren't any classes I'm interested in to continue going to school. I also wish there were later times too.

I'm not blaming anyone just saying what my issue was personally.

It wasn't worth me to keep trying to attend and keep up with if I was actually gonna have class that week or not.

GemmaJewels: Okay, I think Building classes were the big draw for several people so we'll look more into finding another teacher for that

But I think that will be better now that I had seen you got a vice principle I believe. So good luck! It's sure not an easy job and I understand that 100%. Just the cancelations were clashing my schedule.

aubreytopaz: Aw thank you! And yeah I took me a while but eventually I agreed I can't do everything on my own however much I try And I understand, and I'll try my best to find a way around it

It's the whole structure of the way people run SL schools. They have registration and everyone signs up for days of the week and times of the day and you go to that one class on those days at that time.

In the beginning a bunch of kids show up and after a few weeks it fades out to very few if any kids going to class.

Surely there is another system that will work but no one (that I know of) has really tried anything else.

I don't even have any ideas to suggest but it seems like that structure just doesn't really work that well. (My opinion and not trying to start issues).

For me timing has always been the hangup.

Especially when I was working in food service because I didn't have a set schedule. Gosh, that was miserable.

2 reasons. 1) I have an unpredictable sleep schedule, and it makes it very hard for me to attend anything that is regularly scheduled.. even moreso when there are attendance policies.

2) I don't spend nearly enough time online in kid-form as it is.. I've got a store and things to deal with on my Big, so being a kid doesn't get the full-time all-the-time that I'd like.

anwenn: Thats fair enough! And thats why we don't want to implement a 'You miss class, you're out' policy but at the same time it's hard to sit around and do nothing >_<
