not 100% finished yet. solid aspen for the paddle, solid mahogany for the handle

I wanted to practice my Joinery more, this paddle is only 4 parts, the paddle, handle, and two pegs. no glue or anything else holding it togeather

I need to clean up the joint a bit, make it look a bit better, but it is very solid and sturdy and has a very satisfying "thwap"

I want to burn or rout something into the paddle. Aspen is WONDERFUL for putting art into, its a very forgiving wood, and has a beautiful grain to it once I stain and finish it
