engulfed in flames in minutes! like four people stopped to try to put it out with car extinguishers but it went up like a friggin campfire.

yeah, I'm fine. I saw brown smoke from the engine compartment and got out before the flames were visible. as far as I know there's nothing I could have done to prevent it.

so far USAA has returned the payment I'd put down on it, but I hope they'll also reimburse me the thousand I put down on it at the dealership. I don't know really how that part of the insurance works.

yeah looks like they're reimbursing me for my small claims right now, like the swim equipment that burned up .

I need that thousand to put a payment on another new car though.

aaaand now my claim has been flipped to the total loss department because lol no way that is repairable.
