I got my first body wax ever done, my underarms.

It's really hard to shave them with my disability, and the place we went was offering free underarms.

Helen signed up for a Brazillian without knowing what it was.

And then she started really freaking out when we were there.

She has anxiety but isn't really getting it treated so there are just times where I'm like "Helen no" and she doesn't listen.

Thankfully (?) she had shaved her pubic mound recently so the hairs were too short to shave and she's gonna try again in a week.

I don't wanna be there (I'm not allowed in the room with her anyway).

She was freaking out enough that it was just more stressful than I really wanted to deal with for my first waxing appointment.

I have another appointment for Monday to get my legs done. That'll be nice.

As for my underarms, the redness is already going away and it stings a little less. I'm very pleased with the results.

I'm not sure how long it'll be before the hair grows back, so I didn't make a follow up appointment for that yet.

Gina, the aesthetician I worked with, was really nice! They talked me through the process and the steps and chatted with me while the wax was being pulled.

And everything smelled really good! Although I also like the smell of warm wax, but you could only smell it when they were actually applying it.
