Available has some deductions for pending transactions that haven't actually cleared the bank yet, but they are being processed. This happens most frequently with transactions on weekends and holidays.

The transactions can also be deposits that have not cleared yet, like checks that have a hold on them, so the funds are not yet available for withdrawal, but they are reflected in your total balance.
