I broke my hand. 
Saw the ortho dr today and he fitted me with a cute pink removable cast. I was pretty sure nothing was wrong, but my pcp sent me for an xray, where they discovered several fractures.

it happened on the 11th, didn't hurt until the 19th, saw the pcp on the 21st, xrayed on the 22nd and saw the ortho dr today. Sheesh!
Yikes. And ouch. Hope it's much better soon.

I tripped at the quarter-wash where I was getting some quarters so I could vacuum my car. There was a 1/2" step and my shoe was broken and I fell on my hands. Oops...
it doesn't really hurt, they just want it immobilized. FOR A MONTH!!! Sheesh again!!!
I've got knitting to do! 
ahhh. funny how some breaks just don't hurt so much. rest it. let it do it's thing. then you can knit your fingers to the bone
