Ah just got a long and detailed review on a fic I'm doing with someone lol

You really have to give kudos to this person. They just have a lot of thoughts and they managed to get it all down. They meant well and they have valid points but when people just write it all out like that

a lot of crit can be circumstantial and it can depend on a lot..from what i've seen, you're an excellent writer and you'd better not beat yourself up for long

i think the important thing to keep in mind with crit is that it isn't meant to criticize you as a person or even you as a writer, but rather the writing which you have done -- once you've depersonalized it, i

think it's easier to be able to rationally read through and figure out what parts of it you agree and disagree with (because not all crit is necessarily valid, too!) and take it as a learning process.

i dont take crit well either, but it also depends on what's being criticized exactly, most of the time its eyeroll-worthy stuff
