I have a Notepad doc (so there's no extraneous, hidden coding like with Word) for each of my characters with a list of all their icon texts, and I C/P from that to my tags.

I've never had issue with the paragraphs breaks when I do email tags, and I usually just put a disclaimer in the subject that is a phone/email tag therefore default icon

I'm too lazy to mess with icons other than default bc usually if I'm email tagging I'm in bed or on a mobile device with no easy cheat sheet

I wind up doing most of my tags at work, so I'm either writing them in a Word doc, or dropping them in email, either way doing so from my work computer. But yeah, if I tagged by phone, I'd do the same thing.
