experiment that seems to have worked: cheesy leek and potato bread, made by leaving the onion granules part out of the cheese and onion bread recipe in the breadmaker guide and adding potato and leek cup-a-soup

and yes I think potato does do that. I discovered when I used potato bread to make meatballs instead of regular wheat. they were so much fluffier.

update on this: it is best when still warm I think. also nice as toast.
