good friend from high school was hit by a car and killed while riding his bike in Boston

the visitation was tonight and a whole bunch of friends from across the country flew in...many people I haven't seen in years

very good to catch up but loss and a little fear of mortality mixed with some vague deja vu high school moments makes for a very strange brew
