or Moodle or Edmodo perhaps?
I use Edmodo. I took a class on Moodle last summer, but my district says they are no longer supporting it.
We just became Google Apps for Education School, so Iaunched Classroom this week. The district has placed filters on the student accounts for safety. So far, so good.
We are also a Moodle district, but I'm liking Classroom.
Our district used Gaggle for years, and I piloted the program. Loved Gaggle, but teachers weren't using it enough to justify the expense.
I don't think you can be over protective...Don't know how IT is doing this, but they are somehow using filters for student accounts. I sure how it goes okay.
Thank you for asking...I 'm doing well. I finally finished physical therapy from the shoulder surgery.
I was asked to present Google Classroom at an upcoming conference from the teacher/student side of life. Feel free to list potential issues that I should discuss.
Yes...and I am convinced that the shoulder is an area never meant for operation....
Well, I hear that the 50s, 60s is the new 40s.
THAT would be great. One of our 1:1 schools is a Google Apps for Education school and we're the second one. I requested it for our school, and after leaping through several hoops...
IT approved it, and I only get a small glimpse behind the IT scenes.
That's perfect.. Just let me know a day and I'll tell you the time. We are taking the district TLI test on line for the first time, so I'm on tech support call for teachers having issues...
this Monday/Tuesday, but after that, my planning is mine. Thanks a bunch! Conference is in Nov., so I have some time.
Looking forward to it. Just say when. Enjoy the weekend ahead. I should host a grading party and invite everyone over!
