I'm studying with music on so I can concentrate and I just came across an article about Friedrich de Große, king of Prussia, yada yada

and its just super funny to me, how he would only recruit the tallest men into his army at one point, and had the largest land army in Europe for nearly his entire reign

like, the prussian army was so fucking frightening because of their skill and numbers, but on top of it, all of the fuckers were over five foot eleven and no lower

because everyone shorter were inadequate, that's just fucking hilarious to me

Prussian training regimes were horrifying, too. Like, most soldiers would end up breaking limbs or losing fingers because of how rough military training was

but in return, all of them were BAD ASS AS FUCK and could survive almost FUCKIN ANYTHING

Prussians were scary, no wonder all of Europe were scared of the fucking empire, even Austria-Hungary didn't want to fuck with them.

I always thought the Teutonic Knights were bad ass on their own, but then they grew up into Prussians and no-one had a good day except Germany

The Prussian Empire and the Order of the Teutonic Knights are probably my favourite groups of people in European History.

They're actually fantastic.
