I found a way for Brainiac 5 to actually participate in a smut scene that would make me not feel weird.

so I was like, A, just have them interface

and B, have Brainy have a technobiological reproductive organ of some kind, and C, have him experiment with the human element of sexual pleasure.

He wants to have a human experiance.

/nods i like it. i think the motivation is what always tripped me up, but that makes a lot of sense
