I think this is good for near synchronous written conversation. Still, to me, it misses the serendipity of Twitter.

For one conversation, I think a chat room would be better (like
www.tinychat.com/
). To me, Plurk & Twitter have different uses.

I think if you stuck with it for a week or so, you'd see it's value. And you need about 50-80 friends since you're already used to Twitter.
