I'm with that guy, that last combo looks too good! might not work on heavyweights I think. Then there's that comment: "I'm going to be a douche and just say it: Why can't Ein fight as Well as Jean?"
I agree. Ein lacks a lot of moves. I think they were trying to make him play out like Paul from Tekken (basing from his moves) but such a waste IMO
it might be ok for DoA 2 but at least they could've improved his Moveset in Doa 5
His moveset is same as DOA2? So Hitomi has more moves than Ein?
as far as I obverved yes, if he did have new moves, it probably doesn't stand out from his normals coz I haven't really noticed much change
That's certainly disappointing.
Just tried the last combo, it works on heavyweights especially Taka but omit the crouch punch and go directly to the last move since they don't float long enough.
Actually crouch punch -> last move still connects but the opponent can quick recovery after that.
While it does a lot of damage the opponent has a chance to escape from the first hit.
the last combo is situational
Not exactly since a lot of VF5FS' damaging combos involve escapable staggers (especially the 100% damage ones). As long as they don't predict when to start mashing to escape the combo will go on.
This is kinda like the beauty of VF, it's quite balanced. If you get caught in a wall combo or not escape stagger in time it's mostly the player's error.
Ground throws can be used extend combos too but they're escapable.
I really like hoe complex the mechanics are in VF despite it having only 3 buttons
it makes me appreciate the level of skill the pro players possess when watching high level matches
especially in this game where one false move have have you eat a big punish
Yeah, no BS comeback mechanics here.. just pure skill. Comebacks are a real treat to watch too
and pretty rewarding if you are the one who managed the comback..since you know that you outplayed the opponent
That gives a really sweet feeling.
well I miss playing as Jean in the game
Have a quick run on VF5FS on session day?
