Like, even during casual, non-standard roleplay conversations
there are browser extentions that will let you easily change between accounts, too

then the games are in communities
and you post to those instead of your own journal
Communities are functionally the same as the journals, especially visually, with entries and profile page etc.
But multiple accounts can post to a community
