original mesh usually means they made it from scratch, model texture etc. - they can both have based it on the same RL reference though

I couldn't even tell you where at this point, but I recently saw something advertised as original mesh, that I knew was from a template. Very detailed and everything matched up.

the two stores are owned and advertised by 2 different avatars. I guess it's possible it's same person, making the same clothing under 2 different brands, and while that technically counts as "original mesh"...

i feel like using "original mesh" for multiple stores kinda defeats the point of promoting it as "original mesh".

"Original" when it comes to mesh SL products, seems to imply "you can only find this item in this store"

and a really good reason why it was still dishonest to advertise it as original mesh if they were making both the product and the template, because that template will show up all over
