don't take it personally if you aren't chosen, truly. sometimes it's not because of the quality of what you are doing, but because they are already full up, or they are full up of the sort of thing they think
you will bring to the event. event organizers often try to balance the right combination of different types of things (so, say, it's not just all hair people in an event, unless it's actually hair fair!)
but always strive to do better, even when you get into those events you want- never being satisfied and forever practicing your skills and learning more is the way to be!
