You and me both, buddy. You and me both.
Oh, aye. And to think that Alan Moore complained about DC being artistically bankrupt back during Blackest Night!
(Of course, by his standards, they WERE. It's just that now they've caught up to everybody else's standards too.)
Yeah, I was gonna say, I kinda liked Blackest Night.
So did I! It's just that the whole concept was, as our Lord and Terror Alan put it, 'rooting around in his trash for loose ideas.' His ideas are THAT good.
Also, bad choice as to WHICH god they made him. Batman =/= Metron.
Indeed, dear lady! It's just going to keep getting worse from here, too.
Between this and the look that Suicide Squad's Joker is getting? DC is really hitting the bottom of the barrel. To say nothing of the Batman/Superman movie.
btw have you guys seen the new suicide squad trailer? I have to admit I kind of want to see it badly
I have not. All I've seen is the stills of Joker.
Yeah, from what I saw I could scarcely care less. Also Jared Leto Joker underwhelms SO hard. I'm unconvinced he can do the laugh, which is by far the most important part- and even if he can, he still
Looks like a jackass and has no business being on the Squad.
Or even fighting the Squad, for that matter- especially with Harley around. My hopes for this fall into the 'slim-to-none' category;
DC just doesn't know what they're doing with both movies and comics.
I will grant they're starting to get video games down, though.
Because what DC really needs is actual Batgod.
