A one room hostel is really, really bad for noise because people don't really have any place to go that isn't where people are sleeping

And honestly, I'm not going to tell people to shut the fuck up when they don't have anyplace else to go and they're talking quietly

but seriously people? There is never any excuse for watching tv without headphones in a hostel without asking

I had to tell someone to use headphones for his annoying phone game music a few weeks ago at well past the time I had headed to bed,

so at least it wasn't a particularly egregious form of that kind of rudeness
