Ty!!!
She wants me to lose 50 lbs though lol
It's not necessary, but lowers the risk of issues during pregnancy

What would that bring you down to, if I may please ask?
And in a few weeks she wants to check for blockages in my Fallopian tubes. She's pretty sure my PCOS is the problem but wants to check for other issues
Oh that would bring me to 160
Though apparently for my height o should weigh 140 HAH

How tall are you?
5 foot 3 inches
But everyone in my family is uh...big boned lol
I'm not obese, though I'm def overweight
A lot of that is the PCOS though. I put on a lot of weight when I hit puberty and it started being an issue

Oh yeah, I can see that. I'm 5'2" so. And, yes, losing weight like that will greatly reduce your chance of stuff like gestational diabetes and hypertension and whatnot.

And PCOS will be a big challenge on that, so definitely good luck!
Which I get! I'm just not sure how doable it is
Thank you, I appreciate that
My goal is to cut down on carbs and switch to a diet similar to the diabetes one

But I have a friend with PCOS who's been surprise!pregnant twice until she got her tubes tied. In one case, she didn't even know she was pregnant until she was in labor.
Ohhh my goodness that is insane
Yeah I don't even have periods if I'm not on meds so the chances of me actually ovulating are really low lol

Well. With her cycles irregular to nonexistent, and being overweight, and when they did an ultrasound, all they could see were some cysts. The baby was hiding behind them.
Wow that is incredible

It really was. But I hope that makes you optimistic because it definitely can happen!

I totally support you starting the diabetic diet, though! One thing I remember seeing back when I was expecting is that, if you're trying to get pregnant, it kinda helps to act like you are.

Doing things like eating healthily, getting regular moderate exercise, avoiding toxins, taking vitamins, etc., etc.
Yeah, that's what I'm gonna try to do. Then I won't have to change everything when it does happen

Baby steps to baby steps, y/y? :-)
And hopefully with actual baby steps as a result
