the slime used my starbucks email address when refilling a starbucks card as a means to test if the stolen credit card (NOT mine) would work.

thus, potentially framing me for the theft. starbucks says they have it on record, so if it is reported fraudulent at the credit card level, they can deal with it and confirm it wasn't me.

but unfortunately for the real credit card vicitm, they can't recall the charge and wipe the refilled starbucks card just on my word for it.

all they can do is record it as potential and make sure my name is kept off of it from now on.
