Weirdly makes a lot of sense to me?
Like 1 is for new beginnings, which makes total sense.
And 2 is for union and crossroads and reconciliation. Like of course it is.
Three is inherently unstable being that it's odd, but also its the best time for creative inspiration because of its instability
Four is a solid foundation. Like the foundation of a house, you know, but being that it's solid, it's also really immovable and can create stagnation
Five is the restarting of the cycle. Shit is once again out of balance. But if you think about the 10 cars of the major arcana being the wheel...
It gives a much better sense of what five means. It's like the wheel. It means forward progress.
6 is just double 3. It's like a three on steroids. The shifts are less material here and more like paradigm shifts. Like changing your world view drastically.
But at the same time it's an even number so it's more stable and harmonious.
Seven is one of those numbers that shows up in many mythologies. (Lookin' at you, Harry Potter.)
But it makes sense. Like its all of the stuff from 6 plus the introspection and new beginning from 1.
There's a reason there are 6 bodily chakras and 1 spiritual one.
And if you think of all the numbers as being additive, 8 makes more sense. This one is still the one I'm trying to wrap my head around.
It's two fours which are very stable and it's four twos which are for partnership.
So I guess in that way the spiritual fortitude but also the rebirth make sense.
9 is pretty straightforward. It's the sign of nearing fruition. Everything is reaching a place of alignment. The cycle us almost complete.
And the ten is the same as 1 but on a higher level.
And oh hey look there's the wheel again.
Btw this aligns shockingly well with ten dimension theory????
Which I think is why it makes so much sense to me.
interesting! i haven't looked at numerology yet
for whatever reason, this part of tarot clicked for me right away
take The Lovers for example
the ultimate love relationship/card, right
but its also about unity of animus and anima
and the symbol for that is two triangles pointing in opposite directions that have been laid one on top of the other
