Never heard of that for Thanksgiving, but yum! Mine's a tie between stuffing and mashed potatoes. Depends on how they're done, I guess. Shameless carboholic here...
My step moms mashed potatoes. She makes them better than any restaurant I've ever been to. Apparently, the secret is to use butter ONLY, no milk at all.
Not especially. I was never a big turkey fan and I ate practically none of the sides growing up. I don't recall mashed potatoes being much of a t-day thing but if we had them I'd have eaten that, and I would
pick the fried onion string things off the top of green bean casserole. These days I also like stuffing, if it's done particular ways. Sooo yeah it was never a meal I was excited about.
